| 内容記述 | 本研究は、応答表現「ええ」の発話者の性差による異同、女性発話による「ええ」の 特徴について考察するものである。分析対象は谷崎潤一郎『痴人の愛』の「ええ」の用 例である。 調査の結果、女性発話による「ええ」は、常体会話でも敬体会話でも使用される一方、 男性発話による「ええ」は、敬体発話内でのみ使われていることが明らかとなった。さ らに、女性発話による「ええ」に後続する文の文末には、「わ」「の／のよ」「の」など の終助詞が共起する用例が多いことがわかった。これらの終助詞は、女性的特徴を表す 役割語として認識されている。こうした女性語との結びつきが強い「ええ」もまた、女 性性を表象する役割語としての機能を一部有しているのではないかということが示唆さ れた。 |

| 内容記述 | This research examines the gender differences regarding the response “ee” and its characteristics as uttered by women throughout the novel “Chijin no ai” written by Junichiro Tanizaki. The results show that “ee” uttered by women is used in both everyday conversations and formal conversations, whereas “ee” uttered by men is limited to the latter. Moreover, “ee” uttered by women is often followed by sentence-final particles, “wa,” “no/noyo,” and “no,” which carry out the function of a feminine role language. This relationship between “ee” and these particles indicates that “ee” may function as a role language. |
