| 内容記述 | ネイティブスピーカーが言語のデータの文法性（あるいは許容度）を判断する際に，脳／マインドの中で様々な要因が関与することは容易に想像できる。本稿では，特に優位性（superiority）と反優位性（anti-superiority）の現象を示すデータの文法性の判断に影響を及ぼす要因について考察する。普通のイントネーションで発話されると解釈できない非文法的なWH疑問文が，イントネーションを工夫したり，詳しいコンテキストを与えることで理解しやすくなるという現象がしばしば観察されている。本稿の目的は，このような文法性の判断の緩和現象が，ただ聞こえがよくなるという表面的なことではなく，意味解釈のメカニズムに体系的に一定の制限が加えられたときにのみ起こる文法現象であるということを示すことである。 It is easy to imagine that the native speaker’s grammatical judgments involve many different kinds of factors in the human brain/mind. This paper discusses some factors that influence grammatical judgments on the data concerning superiority and anti-superiority effects. Some WH-questions are unacceptable, and hence ungrammatical, when uttered in a normal intonation, but they become more acceptable when uttered with a special emphatic intonation and/or when a specific context is given. The purpose of this paper is to show that amelioration of superiority and anti-superiority violations can occur only when the multiple whquestion is interpreted in narrowly restricted ways. |
