| 内容記述 | 「オルタナティブ・スクール」を代表するキーワードは「子ども中心」,「自主性」,「個性化」,「自由」などである。欧米で1950年代後半から60年代にかけ，既存の公立学校とは異なる教育実践をめざす人々によってフリー・スクールが設立されてから，フリー・スクール運動は日本や韓国などでも注目され，従来の公教育に対する批判から，教育における「学校の人間化」や「人間らしい教育」を求める運動としてオルタナティブ教育運動が始まった。その後，韓国でも従来の学校教育に対する批判からオルタナティブ教育の必要性が強調され始めた。これにより，子どもを公的な教育機関でなく民間による施設などで教育させる動きが活発化した。いわゆる児童・生徒らの能力と適性に応じた「学校選択権」を与えることとなった。本稿は，子どもの学習権という側面から近代学校の設立過程で誕生した「オルタナティブ教育」を中心に考察したものである。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | “Free”, “Personalized”, “Autonomous”, and “Child-centered” are key-words representing the image of an alternative school. Between the late 1950s and 1960s, the aim of thealternative school in the United States and Europe was to introduce and implement educational practices different from public schools. The concept of the alternative school was introduced in Korea in the 1970s when the level of discontent with the traidtional school system was quite high. The free school movement became popular and stronger as the public school system was failing during that period. This paper argues that it’s important to allow parents and students to choose alternative education. | |||||
