From this standpoint, Christian education should not be a part of general education, but it should be based on Christian theology. This Christian education is called \"Theology of Education.\" A critique of the \"Theology of Education\" is that it focuses on inside the church, then it tends to become imbalance outside and inside. According to Imahashi saying, Christian education should be an education for Christian communities. Okuda partly suggests that Christian education in church is able to influence outside the church. But he also thinks that the base of Christian education should be inside the church, not outside. Such church-centered Christian education might lead to two problems. One is a lack of interpersonal dynamics; the education is not mutual communication, but one-way preaching from a Christian to a Non-Christian. The other is making an invisible wall; Christian do not noticethe language barrier between Christians and Non-Christians. To solve these problems, new approaches of Christian education should be proposed. Jack L. Seymour, who greatly influences the theories of Imahashi and Okuda, does not focus on a church-centered education. But I suppose that Japanese scholars interpreted his classification of Christian education as a church-centered education. Therefore, I find his statement should be interpreted more originally. According to Seymour's five approaches of Christian education, type two (community) is classified church-centered education, but type one (religious instruction) and type three (development) are not limited to churchcentered education. [*type four (liberation), type five (interpretation)] New approaches of Christian education are as follows; 1. Knowledge of Christianity as a general educational program could be offer in normal schools. 2. Religious consciousness could be developed through private experience, facing unusual situations. 3. Having discussions on ethical themes could help prepare the path of Christianity. All of these three approaches are basically outside church education. However, someone whose standpoint is mainly church-centered education would be critical all three ways. For example, in the first approach, collecting knowledge about Christianity is not same as Christian faith. As for the second approach, one might say that personal access to a Christian community is not easy. The third approach may be criticized in that the truth of Christian revelation of Jesus Christ is not necessary in answers to ethical problems. In a person, who is of Christian faith and is respected in other social fieldssuch as an academic or a vocational world - both the church-centered education and the new approaches are integrated. Thus, such an individual could overcome some of the difficulties in question, e.g., by making small groups with Non-Christians and by developing a network instead of a rigid Christian denomination. Additionally, Non-Christians could deepen their lives in Christianity, by sharing experiences within the network, even though they dare not to commit themselves to Christianity rather than to other religions. In such a way even without commitment they might still feel Christian revelation in interpersonal dynamics.","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_1_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.34577/00000981","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_1_source_id_13":{"attribute_name":"雑誌書誌ID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN0008887X","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_1_text_10":{"attribute_name":"著者所属(英)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_language":"en","subitem_text_value":"International Christian University"}]},"item_1_text_2":{"attribute_name":"記事種別(日)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_value":"研究論文"}]},"item_1_text_3":{"attribute_name":"記事種別(英)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_language":"en","subitem_text_value":"Article"}]},"item_1_text_9":{"attribute_name":"著者所属(日)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_value":"国際基督教大学"}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"1999-03-01"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"KJ00005608887.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"739.1 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_11","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"現代日本におけるキリスト教教育理論に関する一考察 ― 「教育の神学」批判 ―","url":"https://icu.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/995/files/KJ00005608887.pdf"},"version_id":"9d077b4a-f2aa-4e0a-bfd8-fe99c5f6650b"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"現代日本におけるキリスト教教育理論に関する一考察 ―「教育の神学」批判―","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"現代日本におけるキリスト教教育理論に関する一考察 ―「教育の神学」批判―"},{"subitem_title":"A Study of a Theory of Christian Education in Japan Today ―A Critique on \"Theology of Education\"―","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"1","owner":"3","path":["115"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"1999-03-01"},"publish_date":"1999-03-01","publish_status":"0","recid":"995","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["現代日本におけるキリスト教教育理論に関する一考察 ―「教育の神学」批判―"],"weko_creator_id":"3","weko_shared_id":3},"updated":"2023-09-25T05:55:47.867147+00:00"}
