That person needs to consider various factors such as the degree of the indebtedness burden, the relative degree of intimacy and the speech situation. Previous Korean literature concerning gratitude situations, however, has focused on how to express gratitude but has ignored the response to the expressions of gratitude. This research focused on how speakers respond to expressions of gratitude in the Korean language and culture. It analyzes the DCT (Discourse Completion Test) data from Korean college students paying attention to how Korean people interact in speech situations of gratitude from the perspective of linguist strategy. DCT analysis shows that depending upon elements such as intimacy, age or social status, degree of indebtedness, Korean college students adopt a variety of linguistic strategies to respond to gratitude. This study can help learners of Korean choose and perform the appropriate linguistic strategies without fear of pragmatic failure.}, pages = {64--74}, title = {韓国語感謝場面における応答ストラテジー -釜山地域の大学生を中心に-}, volume = {35}, year = {2020} }
