The\nofficial report of the Iwakura mission, “Beio kairan jikki,” written by\nKunitake Kume, regrettably has many mistakes on the pages of Russia, and\nthe author did not notice several important matters. First I would like to pick\nup some misunderstood points in the report, consider the further meaning of\nthem, and try to prove the author’s inclination to ignore the relationship\nbetween Japan and Russia.
