「ええ」の機能に関する考察 ―文学作品の用例分析を通して― A study of the function of“ ee”―A literature-based analysis 金山, 泰子 二宮, 理佳 「はい」「ええ」の違い 肯定（yes）＋α 発話者の感情・意見・主張を含む表現 同意応答 本稿では「ええ」の機能として以下の点に着目して考察を試みた。「ええ」は単なる肯 定ではなく「yes ＋α」という側面があるという点である。先行研究では「ええ」の機 能として「同意応答」の機能しか指摘されていない。しかしながら、筆者らのこれまで の調査から得られた被験者のコメントから、「ええ」は、「同意」、そして「肯定（yes）」 以外に、様々な気持ちが含まれている「α」の部分を併せ持っているのではないかとい う考察に達している。本稿では、従来の研究からは網羅しきれていない「α」の部分を、 ①「躊躇、迷い、ごまかしなどを表す機能」と②「断り、反対意見などを表明する機能」 の２つに分類し、文学作品からの用例を挙げつつ分析を試みた。 This paper examines the function of “ee” in terms of its meaning as “yes plus something more.” Preceding studies have defined “ee” only as an “agreement response.” However, our surveys have been indicated that “ee” can mean not only “yes” but also “something more”; this “something more” captures various feelings of a speaker. In this paper, these feelings are classified into two groups: (1) hesitation, perplexity, and deception, and (2) decline and disagreement.
